Hollingworth "Friendly Neighborhood Helpers"
Hollingworth students and families enjoyed a special treat as first graders presented “Friendly Neighborhood Helpers,” a fun musical where students learned and sang about many helpful people in their community.

Blandford Boosterthon!
Every student was decked out in Blandford Bears T-shirts and the music was pumping as the entire school took part in the “Boosterthon Fun Run” – a huge fitness event that had the school buzzing with excitement on May 26. Blandford PTA Historian Marie Hui said they raised more than $13,000 for new playground equipment.

Every 15 Minutes at Nogales High School
The powerful "Every 15 Minutes" program was held at Nogales High School on May 7 & 8. A simulation of a fatal drunk-driving traffic accident was staged in front of the school as students watched deputies, police officers, fire ambulance and even the morgue respond. NHS students took part in the scene and an assembly was held the following day.

Shelyn Students Throw Pies at Principal For Raising More Than $6,000!
Shelyn Sharks broke all records to raise money for this year's Pennies for Patients Fundraiser for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. They raised $6,890 -- and in addition to teacher Mrs. Ruud shaving her head, Principal Sarah Opatkiewicz agreed that students could throw whipped cream pies for donations over $100!
