KinderFest: Saturday, March 14
¡Estamos ansiosos que nos acompañen a KinderFest! Este es un evento súper divertido e interactivo para familias con niños de 3, 4 y 5 años, diseñado para explorar el aprendizaje y los programas de Kínder de Transición (TK) y Kínder ofrecidos en el Distrito Escolar Unificado de Rowland. ¡Disfrute de divertidas actividades con temática marina, salón de clase KinderFest, experiencia del Autobús Eescolar, búsqueda de conchas marinas, Robótica, Jardín de Lectura, Pintacaritas, Manualidades, Música y mucho más!
KinderFest Classroom: (Conference Room 4): Visit a TK/Kinder classroom showcasing a variety of learning opportunities, flexible seating, technology and speak with Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten Teacher Experts!
Sea Shell Dig: Dig for your own sea shells and have a whale of a time with ocean-themed activities!
Cafeteria Experience: (Conference Room 2): Kids can line up to sample yummy, nutritious food by RUSD Nutrition Services!
RUSD’s Magic School Bus: Children can take their first steps onto a big yellow bus, honk the horn, and turn the steering wheel!
Coding: Children can code “Beebots” and “Coding Crew” bots and start their love of robotics.
RUSD Dual Language Immersion Programs: Starting in Transitional Kindergarten, children in RUSD can learn to read, write and speak Spanish or Chinese! Learn more about our Dual Language Immersion programs.
Photo Areas/Face Painting & More: Children will have fun taking their pictures with KinderFest photo cut outs with RUSD students, have fun with balloons, face-painting and more!
RUSD's Expanded Learning Opportunities: Rowland Unified is excited to offer families after-school expanded learning opportunities that offer engaging, hands-on activities FREE to all TK-6 students until 6 PM.

Mommy & Me Programs with Rowland Adult & Recreation: Parents can sign-up for classes to learn together with their child.
Healthy Kids: Parents can ask a pediatrician and District nurse health-related questions and learn how to wash their hands properly at the Handwashing Station.
East Valley Hearing and Vision Clinic: Providing comprehensive health care services across the East San Gabriel Valley and Pomona Communities.
Rowland Reading Garden: Children can choose to read a variety of books in a green area with Los Angeles County librarians who can share information about reading programs for children ages 3-5.
Child Safety: Los Angeles County Sheriff Deputies will provide safety information for families and a police car for kids to climb in!
RUSD Family Resource Center: The FRC supports and connects families to a variety of services including but not limited to: counseling, health services, parent learning resources and so much more!
