A Seussical musical?
Well the Cat was out of the bag and back in the Hat when students in the Summer Theater program performed "Seussical Jr. The Musical" on July 9 and July 10.
The spirited performance was the culmination of a month of daily rehearsals at Oswalt Academy in Walnut. Under the direction of Laura Tovar, 46 young performers took the stage in their annual summer production for grades five through eight.
Last year, the Rowland Unified School District's Summer Theater presented "The Music Man," a totally different kind of production from this year's whimsical musical based on the beloved characters from Dr. Seuss.
