Registration Time for Recreation Classes for Children and Adults!

ROWLAND HEIGHTS -- MARCH 17, 2008 -- A variety of recreation classes in the arts, music, sports and dance are offered for children and adults!  Registration starts now until classes are filled. Call (626) 965-5975 ext. 1569 for more information or come by the Rowland Adult and Community Recreation Office at 2100 Lerona Avenue, Rowland Heights. Office hours are Monday – Thursday, 1 – 5 p.m., Friday 12:30 – 4:30 p.m.

NEW CLASSES OFFERED:

• Music Makers and Let’s Make Music – Early childhood music & movement programs. (Ages 4 and up) (Wednesdays) Begins April 2.
• Weapons Karate Classes (Ages 4 -12) (Mondays) Begins March 31.
• Cardio Kickboxing (Ages 12 to Adult) (Tuesdays and Thurs.) Begins April 1
• Ice Skating for Children and Adults (Various classes for children ages 3-6, 7-15, and adults) Begin week of April 16
• Cheer and Pom Team (Ages 6 and up) (Fridays) Begins week of April 14

OTHER CLASSES:

• MUSIC – Piano, Drums, Introduction to Guitar, Violin for Children!
• SPORTS – Basketball for Boys and Girls, Soccer, Karate, Tennis, Beginning Hockey Youth and Beginning Hockey Adult, Swim Team/Water Polo
