Fire departments throughout Southern California have once again joined together with ABC7 to conduct the 21st Annual ABC7 & Firefighters’ “Spark of Love” Holiday Toy Drive.
Toys collected at Los Angeles County Fire Department (LACoFD) fire stations support the Board of Supervisors and Department of Children and Family Services year-round gifting of toys to over 70,000 children of Los Angeles County’s Foster Care System.
This year’s toy drive will begin on Friday, November 22, 2013, and ends Monday, December 30, 2013. A new, unwrapped toy may be left at any Los Angeles County Fire Station with proceeds supporting underserved children and teens in Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Orange, Ventura and Riverside counties.Over the past two decades, Spark of Love Toy Drive has successfully collected more than seven and a half million toys.
