Dunk Tank Cools Off Principals at Rowland High API Celebration Friday

Dunk tank cools off principals at Rowland High

It was so hot on Friday that Rowland High Principal Mitch Brunyer had to take a dip. And the high school doesn’t even have a swimming pool.

So students took turns trying to dunk the local principal, while the rest of the student body cheered them on.

“This is the fifth year that our API score has increased, so I wanted to reward our students for their hard work,” the dripping administrator explained.

The Raiders thought the annual club fair was a good time to celebrate their new API score of 838. In addition to dunking the administrators, including assistant principals Mike Ward and Greg Perez, the students enjoyed some recreational sports with giant inflated sports equipment.
