Freedom, death, morals and velvet were all woven together to create a unique art exhibit last Saturday, March 24 at the Puente Hills Mall.

The exhibit was Nogales High School's International Baccalaureate 12th annual visual arts show, "Illuminating Minds," and "Mis-en-Science" movie premiere.

Poetry, paintings, ceramic pieces, a fashion show and movie screenings helped kick off the exhibit, which features pieces from 14 art, film and fashion students.

The exhibit will run through April 20,. It will be closed during spring break from March 30 to April 8.

A word art and cartoon painting by Nogales High School senior Pitrizz Gangcuangco is on display as part of the La Puente school's annual visual arts show on Friday, March 24, at the Puente Hills Mall in the City of Industry.
