UNIQUE SUMMER ARTS ACADEMY OFFERS ART, DANCE,
MUSIC AND DRAMA TO ELEMENTARY STUDENTS
Registration Now Open for Popular Program June 13 – July 1
WEST COVINA, CA – APRIL 21, 2011 – If you have a child that loves to sing, dance, paint and perform, register in a hurry for the popular Summer Arts Academy held at Hollingworth Elementary in West Covina. Children entering grades 2 – 6 can take part in this fun summer program offered Monday through Friday, 8:15 a.m. – Noon. The cost is $180 per child and includes all art supplies and a special Summer Arts Academy T-Shirt. This year’s theme is “Got Creativity?” under the direction of Music Director and 2011 BRAVO Award winner Laura Tovar. The Music Center’s Bravo Award honors educators and schools throughout Los Angeles County for their commitment to delivering exemplary arts education in both visual and performing arts.
A special “Gallery Night” and performance is held on June 30 at 5 p.m. that showcases the artwork and talent of all students involved. Hollingworth Elementary is located at 3003 E. Hollingworth Street in West Covina. (909)598-3661.
