NEW SUMMER ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS OFFERED FOR ELEMENTARY STUDENTS IN SAN GABRIEL VALLEY
Families looking for summer enrichment programs for their children in Math & Science, Arts and Crafts, Reading and Language Immersion, can enroll in a new series of summer courses offered by Rowland Adult and Community Education. The second session begins July 2 - July 15.
A variety of classes designed for students in grades K – 7 will be offered from 9 a.m. to Noon. Parents can register by mail, fax or in person at Rowland Adult and Community Education, located at 2100 Lerona Avenue , in Rowland Heights . The cost is $96 per session, plus a $9 material fee. Classes will be a minimum of 15 students and maximum of 20 students.
A dynamic Spanish Immersion Class is offered at Northam Elementary and at Shelyn Elementary classes include "Life in the Depths" where science and math collide with a hands-on class that explores the ocean deep, along with Algebra Concepts, Drama/Dance and the "Art of Storytelling."
