Registration Begins Monday, May 17
ROWLAND HEIGHTS, CA – MAY 12, 2010 –Families looking for summer enrichment programs for their children in Math & Science, Arts and Crafts, Reading and Language Immersion in Spanish, French and Japanese, can enroll in a new series of summer courses offered by Rowland Adult and Community Education June 21 – July 15, 2010. Early registration begins Monday, May 17 and can take place by mail, fax or in person at Rowland Adult and Community Education, located at 2100 Lerona Avenue , in Rowland Heights . A variety of classes designed for students in grades K – 7 will be offered from 9 a.m. to Noon and are held in two sessions, the first is Monday, June 21 – Thursday, July 1. Session 2 is Tuesday, July 6 – Friday, July 16. The cost is $96 per session, plus a $9 material fee. Classes will be a minimum of 15 students and maximum of 20 students.
Parents can help their children prepare for Kindergarten with “Get Ready for Kindergarten,” science and math collide with a hands-on class that explores the ocean deep with “Life in the Depths,” and “Education Through Music” will help students promote language skills through songs and games.
