Rowland High School Varsity Boys and Girls Basketball Teams Receive Sportsmanship Award

 

ROWLAND HEIGHTS, CA -- FEBRUARY 17, 2010 -- The Rowland High School basketball program received the Jim Graham Memorial Sportsmanship Award in recognition of the school’s consistent demonstration of outstanding sportsmanship during the 2009-10 season. The award was presented by the Foothill-Citrus Basketball Officials Association at an awards banquet held on February 15.

            “It’s an honor for the Rowland Basketball Program, both Boys & Girls, to be recognized by our Officials association,” said Rowland High School Coach Gordon Hamlow. “Both programs have worked with our Officials throughout the year via Tournaments, Leagues, and One Day events in an effort to better high school basketball in the San Gabriel Valley.  The Rowland Basketball Programs would like to thank the Foothill – Citrus Officials Association for this Award.”
