All Students at 10 Schools Now Automatically Receive Free Breakfast & Lunch for New School Year

 
The Rowland Unified School District Nutrition Services Department today announced an amendment to its policy for serving meals to students under the National School Lunch and Breakfast Program for the 2019-2020 school year. All students enrolled in the schools listed below, will be served lunch and breakfast at no charge:
 
Hurley Elementary School
Jellick Elementary School
Northam Elementary School
Rorimer Elementary School
Rowland Elementary School
Villacorta Elementary School
Yorbita Elementary School
Giano Intermediate School
Nogales High School
Santana High School
 
 
Applications and information regarding the free and reduced-price meal program will be mailed to the households of students enrolled in the Rowland Unified School District in grades TK-12. Meal applications will also be available in the Nutrition Services office beginning July 29, 2019. Families can apply online at https://family.titank12.com/. In
addition, applications are available at the school sites and school cafeterias throughout the school year. To apply for free or reduced-price meal benefits, families complete one application per household listing all family members living in the household. Applications may be submitted to the school office or the Nutrition Services office.
