NATIONAL BULLY PREVENTION MONTH: October is bully prevention month. Our goal is to teach students about ways to address bullying. We want to raise the level of awareness and action by students against bullying all year long. Remember to make explicit and frequent connections to Rascal PRIDE.  

• Assembly: We scheduled the Morris Bros Bully Free Classroom or Oct 3

  • we also need Teacher(s) for a Role Play at the assembly; info in calendar

• Instruction and Activities: Teachers will teach 4 live lessons on Bully prevention during the month. Lessons can be from the slide deck or others of your choice.

• Please review the resources from the Bully Prevention Month Resources page or the Bully Prevention Slide deck. 

  • Use the link on p. 2 of the slide deck to fill out when you have completed the bully lessons.

• Bully Prevention Spirit Wednesdays: We will send this out on PS. Teachers will get a printed copy to post and advertise in class. 

• Unity Day:  We will wear orange for Unity Day on Oct 18th and do a school banner for everyone to sign. Here is the Sign up for the banner.
