Registration for Spring Recreation Classes Begin!

The Rowland Recreation Department will begin registration for Spring classes on Monday, March 11 at 1 p.m.  There are a wide variety of classes children will enjoy -- such as  art, dance, piano and guitar lessons, and if they’re interested is sports, sign-up for basketball, soccer, tennis, karate or Jr. golf -- even ice skating! For advanced swimmers there are Stroke Clinic and Water Polo classes.

There are also academic classes such as, Debate and Public Speaking, Word and Power Point, Math Workshops and PSAT Prep classes that are geared for students ages 8-13.

For students kindergarten to 5th grade there is Montessori Jr. Reading and Writing Club, Math and Logic classes, Common Core Math, Reading and Writing Enrichment. If robotics and engineering is something of interest to your child, try our Robotics Challenge, Jr. Engineering Club or Biomedical Engineering.

New this Spring is Musical Theater and Make-up Application for 13-16 year old teens!  Rowland Recreation is located next door to Killian Elementary at 2100 Lerona Avenue in Rowland Heights. To see all of our classes visit our website at recreation.rowland.k12.ca.us.
