NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS 

Public Hearing re California Voting Rights Act and Transition from At-Large to District Based Voting System for School Board Members Pursuant to Elections Code section 10010(a), before a political subdivision that is changing from an at-large method of election to a by-trustee area method of election draws a draft map or maps of the proposed boundaries of the trustee areas, the political subdivision shall hold at least two public hearings at which the public is invited to provide input regarding the composition of the trustee areas. The Public Hearings Will be Held on:

PUBLIC HEARING TOPIC: The transition to a by-trustee area election system and the composition of potential trustee voting areas in advance of the preparation of draft trustee voting area plans by the District’s demographer. The public is invited to participate and make comments during the public hearing.
