The next Rowland Heights Community Coordinating Council (RHCCC) community meeting will be held Monday, May 12, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at Pathfinder Park.
The County of Los Angeles recently solicited bids from qualified companies to provide trash hauling services for the residents of Rowland Heights. Athens Services was the low bidder and has been awarded the contract.
Mr. James Breitling, the Government Affairs Manager for Athens, will be the speaker for our May RHCCC meeting. His presentation will include a review of the contract provisions, including the services to be performed, the fees to be charged, and how and when the switch over to his firm will occur.
This will be an important meeting. The change in firms handling trash hauling services will affect all homes in Rowland Heights. Please save the date and attend the meeting to hear first hand how you will be impacted. There will be time for questions and answers following Mr. Breitling's presentation.
