HOLIDAY BASKET PROGRAM: Saturday, December 14 from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Alvarado Intermediate in Rowland Heights

A large assembly line of students and community members will gather starting at 6 a.m. tomorrow at Alvarado High School to assembly more than 150 holiday baskets (complete with a turkey) for families pre-selected throughout Rowland Unified School District (RUSD). Starting at 1 p.m. families arrive to pick up the baskets. The donation program is through the joint efforts of the students of Rowland High School’s Interact Club, Santana, Rowland, and Nogales High Schools’ ASB, employees of RUSD, members of Walnut Valley Rotary Club, and other community volunteers. Time: 6 a.m. – 2 p.m. Location: Alvarado Intermediate – Cafeteria – 1901 S. Desire Avenue, Rowland Heights, CA 91748.
