Hollingworth Elementary will hold their “No Excuses University Kick Off” event on Monday, Sept. 10, 2012 at 8:30 a.m.

Principal Dr. Michael Hoon says, "Hollingworth is a “No Excuses University” where we promote college to students from their very first day of school and don’t stop until they leave our campus. At this event, we will hear from several college grads (Dr. Rosemary Aguilar-Assistant Superintendent Rowland USD [USC], Bob Withers - Vice Principal of Rowland High School [UCLA], Nicole Forrest-Boggs, Director of Development [Cal Poly Pomona]. City of West Covina Councilman Fredrick Sykes will also be in attendance to support this event."
