This course will help parents learn how to create a positive and lasting educational environment at home using a number of proven academic success tools: dedicating a home study location and time of day for homework; creating ongoing dialog with their kids’ surrounding their academic successes and challenges; discussing children’s college expectations; and more.
The class will be held Thursday mornings and evenings for 8 weeks. There will be a class for English-speaking parents and another class for Spanish-speaking parents. Childcare will also be provided.
