Middle School Teens Compete in Culinary Competition Tuesday AND Thursday

 

WEST COVINA, CA -- For the past eight weeks, students at Giano Intermediate and Telesis Academy of Science & Math have taken part in culinary classes under the direction of a trained chef. Students have learned everything from food preparation, presentation techniques, and culinary careers.  In teams, students followed recipes to create delicious entrées and desserts.  Now students are ready to showcase their skills in a “Next Iron Chef” competition. Two teams from each school will be competing for an opportunity to attend the White House Restaurant in Orange County, to  experience a five star cuisine, and meet a world renown chef.
