The Rowland Heights Community Coordinating Council will be holding their regular second Monday of every month Community meeting at 7:00 p.m. on December 10th, 2012, at Pathfinder Park. Besides the regular reports from law enforcement and representatives of elected officials, the guest speaker will be Alan Wapner, a current member of the Ontario City Council and a former member of the Ontario-Montclair School Board. Mr. Wapner will discuss the importance and status of the Free Ontario movement: an effort by the City of Ontario to regain ownership of the Ontario Airport from Los Angeles World Airport. It could be a great boost for commerce in the entire region, and an increase in the number of available flights would be appreciated by residents throughout the area.

The RHCCC requests those planning on attending the meeting to also bring a new, unwrapped toy to contribute to the California Highway Patrol’s CHiPs For Kids toy drive.

The RHCCC provides these monthly meetings so all Rowland Heights residents and businesses are able to communicate directly with the agencies and representatives affecting the quality of life in this unincorporated community.
