REMINDER:
The 39th annual Buckboard Days Parade will be on October 22, 2011 starting at 9 a.m. This year's theme is "The Best Comunity for Kids." The parade route will on start on Nogales Avenue south of Colima Road proceeding north, turn east (right) on Colima Road, turn north (left) on Banida Avenue, and conclude at Rowland Heights County Park, to be followed by a community festival organized by the Rowland Council PTA and the Los Angeles County Department of Parks and Recreation.
Deadline to apply for the Buckboard Days Parade is September 23, 2011. Visit http://buckboarddayparade.blogspot.com/ to apply to be in the parade or to be a sponsor.
