At Villacorta, K-6th garde students participate in 3 RIF Days during the school year. Teachers organize theme-based literacy activities in which students visit multiple classrooms and participate in different literacy experiences. The RIF Day culminates with each student selecting a free book to take home. Villacorta students receive over 1,500 free books annually though RIF Days.
