Scholarship Opportunity For Senior Performing Arts Students:  Deadline January 14, 2011 at 5 p.m.

The Friendws of Arts Education at the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts are offering scholarships -- up to $12,000 -- to a high school senior who wishes to pursue a career in the performing arts either on stage, as teachers, or in other arts related careers. Scholarships are available in the following five categories: Classical Voice, Dance, Drama, Instrumental Music, and Musical Theatre (voice). Winners will have the opportunity to perform on the main stage of the world-class Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts for the scholarship presentation on March 25, 2011 at 7:30 p.m.
