The Spring Session for Rowland Adult and Community Education will begin January 24, 2011 and registration will begin January 10, 2011.

Classes include English as a Second Language, Citizenship Preparation and GED Preparation. NEW CLASSES include: Create Your Own Website Blog, Zumba and BBQ Pitmaster 101 taught by Slap Yo Daddy BBQ, comprising of Harry Soo and Benny Adauto who have won 10 plus Grand Championships and are a top nationally ranked team! They have also been featured on TLC’s BBQ Pitmasters Season One. Other classes include CPC (Certified Professional Coder), Coding Review class designed to prepare students to become a CPC through the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC). Ongoing classes include Stretch- N- Tone, Conversation Spanish for Adults and Children, Card Making and Scrapbooking. In addition, a variety of Community Education classes are offered such as Traffic Violator School, Accent Improvement, Balloon Decorating, Conquering Your Computer Phobia, Microsoft Word for Advance and Intermediate level, Intro to Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint), Pilates, Tai Chi, Golf and many more.
