TO ALL INTERESTED PARTICIPANTS:

This year the 38th annual Buckboard Days Parade and Festival will be held on Saturday, September 18th, at 9:00 a.m. Our theme is "A Better Community, A Better Life – Through Volunteering.” Parade assembly will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Nogales Street, just south of Colima Road in Rowland Heights. All participants must be in place no later than 8:30 a.m. or will be placed at the end of the parade.

The parade distance is a little over one mile and should last approximately two hours. It will travel north on Nogales Street, go east on Colima Road, make a left turn on Banida Street and end at Rowland Heights County Park. Details and information on parade assembly, including a map and “Parade Entrant” sign will be available upon completion of your entry form.

Following the parade, there will be a Buckboard Family Festival sponsored by the Rowland Council PTA and the Los Angeles County Department of Parks & Recreation. This will include food and craft booths, entertainment, and more. We hope you will stay and enjoy the festival.

An entry fee of $50.00 must accompany each commercial or business application in order for it to be processed. The fee is waived for community organizations and individuals participating in the parade. This year’s parade promises to be bigger and better than ever!

Attached are the application forms for the parade, as well as festival booths. *Please note if you plan to sell food, you must fill the additional food vendor application.
