ROWLAND ADULT EDUCATION GRADUATION TUESDAY, JUNE 9
ROWLAND HEIGHTS, CA – The graduation ceremony for Rowland Adult and Community Education (RACE) will be held Tuesday, June 9 at 7 p.m. at Rowland High School. Student speakers will be Carmen Flores and Natalie De La Paz. A special GED award will be presented to Richard Maldonado for the highest English GED score. A perfect score is 4,000 and Richard received a score of 3,120. Connie Miranda, President District PTA will present the Ada Mae Warner scholarship to Sarah Mallari.
RACE provides the opportunity for adult students to work at their own pace with one-on-one instruction. Students are able to complete classes they need to finish their diploma, and with both morning and evening classes every student can find one to fit their schedule.
