- Schools Throughout RUSD 8 - 11:30 a.m. Luncheon held at Industry Hills Expo Center 11:30 - 1:30 p.m.
Business leaders and community members are invited to experience the challenges of leading a school on a daily basis as they become "Principal for a Day" at schools in the Rowland, Hacienda La Puente, and Bassett Unified School Districts. This annual event on March 12 corresponds with the statewide "Educational Partnership Week."
Community leaders are invited to support our schools with this popular event by either being a guest principal and/or a corporate sponsor where funds support student scholarships.
Guest principals are assigned a school and will tour the school from 8 - 11:30 a.m., then they are invited to a luncheon reception at the Industry Hills Expo Center that takes place from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Scholarship students and corporate sponsors will be recognized at this time.
