Killian Elementary 7th Annual First Day of School Celebration:
8:25 a.m. - Parents can meet the school principal and vice principals and take part in Parent Workshop on how to help kids with homework and make them successful!
9:45 - 10:25 a.m. - All parents invited to meet with teachers in classrooms and watch students participate in activities.
10:30 - 10:45 a.m. - All school assembly where parents can meet entire schools staff and opportunity to win a new PT Cruiser from Superior Chrysler Jeep Dodge of City of Industry. Opportunity Tickets are $25 and support Killian Elementary School.
La Seda Elementary First Day of School Celebration:
8:40 a.m. - Continental breakfast for parents provided.
9 - 10 a.m. - Guided tours of the entire campus so parents can visit all classrooms and school areas.
Northam Elementary First Day of School Celebration:
7:30 - 8:05 a.m. - Parent refreshments served.
8:05 - 8:25 a.m. - Parents invited to their child's new classroom to meet their teacher.
8:30 a.m. - Welcome from Principal and chance to enter raffle.
9 - 9:30 a.m. - School tours: Visit the school's Community Work Center, MIND Music Lab, Literacy Lab and Enhancement Program Area, and the location for the planned new Wonder of Reading Library.
Ybarra Academy of the Arts & Technology First Day of School Celebration:
8:15 a.m. - Welcome to School Assembly (upper black-top area)
8:30 a.m. - Parent Workshop on how to help your child succeed in school (Multi-purpose room)
9:15 - 10 a.m. - Parents are invited to meet teachers, staff and administrators and tour classrooms.
Yorbita Elementary Parent Resource Fair:
7 - 8:30 a.m. - Parents are invited to a fair that highlights resources available at Yorbita for families. Booths include: Parent Institute of Quality of Education, PTA, Yorbita Power to the Parents Resource Center, Options enrichment programs and preschool, Morning Break Club, Migrant Education and more.
