Rowland Unified District Teacher of the Year: Stephanie Vidal Ayers, Ybarra Academy

Rowland Unified is excited to announce the District Teacher of the Year for 2025-2026: Stephanie Vidal Ayers, Fourth Grade Teacher at Ybarra Academy of Arts and Technology. Stephanie Vidal Ayers is an exceptional educator whose dedication and passion for teaching shine through in all she does. She creates a welcoming, supportive classroom where students feel valued, heard, and encouraged to succeed. Stephanie builds a strong sense of community, empowering students to take risks and support one another, where students develop a love for learning and grow academically and personally. Her active involvement in the Ybarra Academy community includes building strong relationships with parents and staff, contributing to a cohesive, supportive school culture. Stephanie plays a vital role in the Student Success Team, providing targeted interventions and advocating for students who need extra support.
