Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP)

Dear RUSD Families & Community:

In 2013-14, California adopted a new K-12 funding law called Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF), developed to assist schools with focusing resources on student success. As part of the LCFF, Rowland Unified School District (RUSD) must develop, adopt and annually update a three-year Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) that meets the educational priorities of our community. The LCAP includes input from parents and the community.

2022-23 LCAP DEVELOPMENT: With community input, the LCAP must address District goals and specific actions to achieve the goals for all students and specific subgroups of students (low-income students, English learners and foster youth), as well as address the eight state priority areas listed below:

EIGHT STATE LCAP AREAS:

  1. Implementation of State Standards
  2. Parent Involvement
  3. Student Achievement
  4. Student Engagement
  5. School Climate
  6. Course Access
  7. Other Student Outcomes
  8. Basic Services
